The Spleen Channel of Foot Tai Yin starts at the inner edge of the base of the nail of the big toe (Yin Bai SP.1), then on the rear-plantar border of the foot approaches the proximal head I of the metatarsal bone, rises and, passing anteriorly from the medial ankle ( Shang Qiu SP.5), goes on the inner surface of the Shin, intersects with the Liver Channel of Foot Jue Yin and Kidney Channel of Foot Shao Yin at the point of Three Yin Intersection SP.6. Then, the channel ascends along the inner side of the knee, passes through prednimustine of the thigh, enters the abdomen, connects with the vessel Ren Mai at the points Zhong Ji CV.3, Guan Yuan CV. 4, Xia Wan CV.10, enters the spleen and connects with the stomach. Rising up to the chest channel, connects with the Gall Bladder Channel of Foot Shao Yang at the point of Ri Yue GB.24, with the Liver Channel of Foot Jue Yin at the point Qi Meng F.14. Then the channel penetrates through the diaphragm, crosses the point "Middle Palace" P.1 of the Lung Channel of Hand Tai Yin and descends down the lateral side of the chest to the VI intercostal space to the point Da Bao SP.21.
The branch of the channel departs at the level of the intercostal space II, rises, passes along the lateral surface of the trachea, larynx, to the tongue, reaching its tip.
The inner branch of the channel begins in the stomach area, goes up, penetrating through the diaphragm, comes to the heart, where it connects with the Heart channel of Hand Shao Yin.
The channel is connected to the spleen, stomach, heart and lungs.
