Localization

On the dorsum of the foot, in the depression formed by the junction of the second and third metatarsal bones and the cuneiform bones (second and third), 1.5 cun distal to Jiexi ST-41, on the line drawn between Jiexi ST.41 and Xiangu ST.43, at the point where the pulsation of the dorsalis pedis artery may be palpated.

Indications

- Digestive system: pain and swelling in the stomach with a sense of food stagnation, vomiting, flatulence.
- Disorders of the mind: a strong jitteriness, heightened state of joy, incoherent thought, desire to publicly undress, mania, epilepsy, post-stroke state.
- Channel diseases: redness and swelling of the back surface of the foot, paralysis of the foot, hanging foot when walking.
- Features: the bias of the person, the pain in the front part of the head, absence of sweating in the syndrome of heat.

Needling Method
