Localization

On a line connecting Yanggu SI-5 and Xiaohai SI-8, 5 cun proximal to Yanggu SI-5, in the groove between the anterior border of the ulna and the muscle belly of flexor carpi ulnaris. The point is projected on the ulna, on the elbow edge of the elbow extensor of the wrist

Functions

Removes superficial syndrome, cleanses heat, quiets the spirit.

Indications

- Channel diseases: pain in the 4th and 5th fingers, pain in the shoulder, tension and pain in the forearm and fingers, limitation of mobility in the elbow joint.
- Disorders of the mind: anxiety, jitteriness, trembling after fright, fear, nervous debility, impaired memory type senile.
- Features: the state of chronic fatigue, thirst (stimulates the absorption of water), fever (Tai Yang syndrome), folliculitis, abscesses in the lumbar region with the transition to the buttocks (damp syndrome-heat), headache in the temples in the setting of eye and ear disease.

Needling Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.3 - 0.5 cun. Cauterization.
