On the palm, between the second and the third metacarpal bones, where the tip of the middle finger rests when a fist is made.

Functions

Regulates Heart-Qi, calms the spirit, clears heat of blood, regulates the stomach.

Indications

- Localized diseases: trigeminal neuralgia, pain in the lower jaw.
- Disorders of the Nose: bleeding from the nose, red wings of the nose (fever in the lungs).
- Affection of the throat: sore throat with difficulty swallowing, offensive breath because of fever, dry mouth.
- Cardiovascular system: heart pain spreading throughout the chest.
- Digestive system: stomachache, painful food accumulation, blood in stool.
- Disorders of the mind: depression, neurasthenia, emotional lability, hysteria, anger attacks, insomnia, epilepsy, unmotivated fun and laughter, manic and depressive forms of madness.
- Channel diseases: paraesthesia in fingers.
- Critical condition: faintness, coma, sunstroke, convulsions caused by high fevers, epilepsy.
- Features: blood in urine, hypertension, fever throughout the body without sweating, swelling in the pelvis with Qi stagnation, violation of motor function of the limbs (stroke).

Needling Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.3 - 0.5 cun. Cauterization.
