Localization

Between the edge of the mastoid process and the posterior edge of the lower jaw, in the recess at the anterior edge of the sternocleidomastoid muscle.

Indications

- Channel diseases: pain and tension of neck and neck muscles, hyperkinesis and contractures of back and chest muscles, torticollis.
- Ear diseases: noise and ringing of the ears, deafness, eustachian pain radiating into the throat.
- Features: surface syndromes wind-cold and wind-heat with cold fit and rigidity of the muscles of the nape, lack of sweating, boils on the neck, dyspnea.

Needling Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 cun. Cauterization.
