Localization

1 cun above the wrist crease on the radial side of the flexor carpi ulnaris tendon, on the HT 3 - HT 7 line.

Functions

Quiets the spirit, cleans the heat of the heart, restores the permeability of the meridians, straightens the tendons, normalizes the heart Qi.

Indications

- Channel diseases: pain in the forearm and wrist.
- 5 holes diseases: ripples in the eyes, redness and swelling of the eyes, ophthalmalgia (emptiness or fullness syndrome), sore throat, redness of the face, paresthesia of the tongue, ulceration on the tongue (heart fire syndrome).
- Urinary system: hematuria,uracrasia. The disease is associated with heat heart syndrome passing to the small intestine.
- Respiratory system: cough, choking in the setting of cardiac dysfunction.
- Cardiovascular system: heart pain, heartbeat, dyspnea, feeling of inner anxiety (stagnant heat in the chest), depression, memory loss, insomnia (emptiness of Yin of the heart and kidneys, full heat syndrome), hysteria with aggressiveness (heart heat), irritability, asthenia.
- Digestive system: pain in stomach with retching.
- Disorders of the mind: hysteria, insomnia, anxiety, depression.

Needling Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.2 - 0.5 cun. Cauterization only in case of pain in the hands.
