Head Corner.

Localization

At the corner of the forehead, 4.5 cun lateral to Shenting GV.24 and 0.5 cun within the anterior hairline.  Corresponds to the upper edge of the temporal muscle, where the deepening is felt when chewing.

Functions

Unblocks channels, expels wind, stops pain.

Intersection

The point of intersection of Stomach Channel of Foot Yang Ming, Gall bladder Channel of Foot Shao Yang and the Yang Wei Mai vessel.

Indications

- Localized diseases: migraine, dizziness, a feeling of fullness in the head (the stomach does not lower the turbid), watery eye in the wind, nystagmus, ophthalmalgia, blurry vision.

Needling Method

Puncture subcutaneously along the scalp posterior to 0.5-1 cun.
