Knee Yang Joint.

Localization

At the outer edge of the patella, in the cavity behind the outer condyle of the femur, anteriorly from the tendon of the biceps femur.

Functions

Expels wind and moisture, soothes muscles, restores movement in the joint.

Indications

- Localized diseases: paresthesia in the course of the Meridian, post-stroke condition, pain in the knees, convulsions, restriction of movement in the knee joint, paralysis of the lower extremities.
- Features: hyperptyalism, pernicious vomiting.

Needling Method

Puncture perpendicularly 1 - 1.5 cun. Cauterization.
