On the neck, at the anterior border of the sternocleidomastoid muscle, midway between Renying ST.9 and Qishe ST.11.

Functions

Moves blood, moves Qi, moisturizes throat, soothes cough.

Indications

- Respiratory system: dyspnea, choking, sore throat, severe cough, difficulty swallowing.
- Features: thyroid disease, hiccups, voice loss, swelling of the anterior surface of the shoulder.

Puncture perpendicularly 0.3 - 0.4 cun. Cauterization. Do not exceed the depth of the needle to avoid injury to the vessels of the neck.
