Functions

Cleans the heat in middle burner (Zhong jiao), converts pathogenic dampness, regulates the function of the digestive tract, promotes the mouth and throat.

Indications

- 5 holes diseases: rhinodynia in the area of the wings of the nose and septum, pain and swelling of the throat mucous membrane, dry throat, foreign body sensation in throat when swallowing, pain in the lower jaw bone, toothache, acute pain in the eyes, severe pain in the outer corner of the eye.
- Respiratory system: cough, dyspnea, feeling of fullness in the chest, difficulty in expectoration of sputum when coughing.
- Digestive system: food stagnation, a feeling of abdominal distention and stomach rumble, constipation, diarrhea (heat syndrome).
- Channel diseases: hyperemia and swelling of dorslim of hand and fingers.
- Features: body heat, drowsiness.

Puncture perpendicularly 0.3 cun; puncture obliquely toward He Gu point LI.4. Cauterization.
