Localization

With the elbow flexed, between the ulnar end of the cubital crease and the medial epicondyle of the humerus. The point is projected to the place of attachment of the shoulder muscle, on the round pronator. The point is easily found when the elbow flexed.

Functions

Quiets the spirit, unblocks channels, expands chest.

Indications

- Channel diseases: paresthesia with a feeling of numbness of the upper limb, pain in the inner surface of the shoulder, pain in the shoulder irradiating to the axillary area, pain with neuritis of the ulnar nerve, tremor of the hands.
- 5 holes diseases: trifacial neuralgia, toothache, headache, swelling on the eyelid (syndrome of dampness-heat spleen).
- Cardiovascular system: heart pain, functional disturbances of cardiac activity, heart rate (negative Qi of the heart).
- Disorders of the mind: reduced memory, motor aphasia, convulsive states.
- Features: diathesis in children (cleanses the skin), fatigue (do cauterization, if there is no heat), vomiting.

Needling Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.3 - 0.5 cun. Cauterization.
