Posterior to the medial condyle of the femur, at the medial end of the popliteal fold with the leg bent at right angles in the knee joint. The point is projected to the anterior edge of the semi-tendon and semi-membranous muscles, to the posterior edge of the sartorial muscle.
Calms muscles, revitalizes collaterals, expels dampness and heat, normalizes Qi and blood in the lower burner (xia jiao).
