Localization

Five cun above the transverse crease of the wrist, between the tendons of the palmaris longus and flexor carpi radialis muscles.

Functions

Soothes the chest, regulates Heart-Qi, eliminates irritability and harmonizes the stomach, cools the blood to stop the bleeding.

Indications

- Cardiovascular system: heart and chest pain, heartbeat.
- Affection of the throat: sore throat, foreign-body sensation in the throat, aphonia.
- Digestive system: haematemesis.
- Channel diseases: channel pain, elbow and wrist joints diseases.
- Respiratory system: cough, hemoptysis.
- Disorders of the mind: fear, convulsions, asthenia, anxiety, depression.
- Features: fever in the blood, uterine hemorrhage, bleeding hemorrhoids, mastitis, warm hands and feet.

Needling Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 - 1 cun. Cauterization.
