Localization

Between the rear edge of the acromion of the scapula and greater tubercle of the humerus. When the arm is moved to the shoulder level, the point is in the fossa between the back and middle parts of the deltoid muscle.

Functions

Unblocks channels, activates joints.

Indications

- Channel diseases: pain in shoulder and shoulder joint, piercing pain in the shoulder (Qi and blood stagnation), pain with limited movement, torticollis (if pain extends to shoulder). Warming up at full and empty cold.

Needling Method

Puncture perpendicularly 1 - 1.5 cun. Cauterization.
