Localization

On the ankle, level with the prominence of the lateral malleolus, in a depression between the tendons of extensor hallucis longus and extensor digitorum longus. The point is projected between the tendons of abductor pollicis longus muscles and the long extensor toes.

Indications

- Digestive system: feeling of fullness in the abdomen, constipation, pain in the stomach, prone to hiccups (heat syndrome), loss of appetite, diarrhea, vomiting.
- 5 holes diseases: headache in the forehead with a feeling of heat, redness of the eyes, swelling of the face, motor and sensory disorders in the lower limbs, swelling of the lower limbs, paresthesia.
- Disorders of the mind: convulsive state in the setting of fright, delirium, depression, a sense of longing.
- Channel diseases: motor and sensory disorders in the lower limbs, swelling of the lower limbs, paresthesia, hanging foot when walking.
- Features: Yang Ming syndrome, the absence of sweating in heat syndrome.

Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 - 0.7 cun. Cauterization.
