1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the third thoracic vertebra.

Functions

Restores and cleanses Qi lungs, calms the breath.

Indications

- Lung diseases: cough, chest fullness, choking, weak breathing, copious sputum, asthma, bronchitis, pulmonary tuberculosis, pneumonia, hemoptysis and pulmonary bleeding, symptoms of external syndrome.
- Digestive system: loose stool, food stagnation, loss of appetite, nausea.
- Disorders of the mind: epilepsy, hot flashes, depression, insomnia, anxiety.
- Features: shingles, rashes, thirst for diabetes (Yin lungs and stomach emptiness), goiter with difficulty breathing, globus sensation, back pain, weakness in body, kyphosis.

Needling Method

Puncture obliquely 5 cun to the side of the spine. Cauterization.
