Localization

Directly below the lateral margin of the nostril at the level of GV. 26 with a vertical line running from the medial angle of the eye.

Functions

Restores the permeability of the nose.

Indications

- Disorders of the Nose: nasal congestion, white nasal discharge, nosebleeds, decreased sense of smell, nasal polyps, nose boils.
- Features: facial spasm and contracture of masticatory muscles, facial paralysis with the downturning mouth. Faint (massage, needles). Promotes the opening of the mouth as a result of the masticatory muscles.

Needling Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0,2 cun. Cauterization is contraindicated.
