Localization

In the center of the axilla on the radial side of the axillary artery. The point is projected on the lower lateral edge of the pectoral muscle and the inner edge of the short head of biceps brachii, on the pectoral muscle

Functions

Quiets the spirit, moves the blood.

Indications

- Channel diseases: shoulder pain irradiating to the armpit and arm, a feeling of swelling in the hand (Qi and blood stagnation), numbness and a feeling of cold in the hand, plexus of brachial plexus, hemiparesis.
- Cardiovascular system: heart pain, accompanied by a heartbeat with chest congestion.
- Features: mastitis, hypogalactia, hyperhidrosis in the axillary cavity (emptiness of Qi heart), weakness of Qi spleen, against which develops stomach heat (smelly sweat), intercostal neuralgia, irritability, depression.

Needling Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 - 1 cun. Cauterization.
