Localization

At the medial end of the popliteal crease, between the semitendinosus and semimembranosus tendons. Locate and needle with the knee slightly flexed.

Functions

Nourishes kidney Yin, cleans the empty heat.

Indications

- Reproductive system: uterine hemorrhage, dysmenorrhea, vulvovaginitis, itching and pain of the external genitals, leucorrhoea, premature ejaculation.
- Digestive system: pain in the stomach area, stomachache.
- Urinary system: stranguria, pain during urination.
- Localized diseases: pain in the knee joint.
- Features: protruding tongue, the constant lip-licking, epilepsy, hernia inguinal and inguinal-scrotal, dry spitting (emptiness of kidney Yin).

Needling Method

Puncture perpendicularly 1 - 1.5 cun. Cauterization.
