- Affection of the throat: dry throat, sore throat, tubercular cough. The liver fire burns lung Yin, while the back wall of the pharynx is affected.
- Dental diseases: toothache, gingivitis.
- Digestive system: feeling of fullness and pain in the stomach area, hiccups, diarrhea (liver heat depresses spleen), haematemesis (liver fire).
- Eye disease: visual snow, swelling and eye redness, headache, twilight vision disorders, decrement in visual acuity, dry eyes.
- Disorders of the mind: heart attack or after it (blossoming of liver fire), hysteria, psychosis, emotional lability, fright in children with disorientation, strong anger, mild temper, anger, feeling of severe discomfort in the setting of nerve strain, epilepsy, sleep disturbance, headache, sexual dysfunction in the setting of nervous stress: vaginismus, mental impotence, wedding-night syndrome, sexual neuroses.
