1.5 cun lateral to the midline, at the level of the second posterior sacral foramen..

Functions

Cleanses heat, removes dampness, activates urination, removes leucorrhoea.

Indications

- Urogenital system: spermatorrhea, uncontrolled urine separation, urinary retention, maceration, eczema of the external genitals with itching, cystitis, endometritis, menstrual disorders in young girls.
- Localized diseases: back and knee pain (in the setting of syndrome of emptiness, defeat by wind-cold), pain in the sacrum, leg and knee joint weakness.
- Digestive system: abdominal distension, stomach rumble, constipation, abdominal pain.

Needling Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 - 1 cun. Cauterization.
