In the suprascapular fossa, in the depression midway between Jianjing GB. 21 and Quyuan SI-13 (at the medial end of the suprascapular fossa). In the abutment fossa, at the upper corner of the scapula, 1 cun straight down from Jianjing GB.21.

Functions

Unblocks channels and collaterals, expels wind-dampness.

Indications

- Channel diseases: pain in shoulder and shoulder joint, pain with limited movement, joint pain increases with increasing humidity, pain in shoulder joint, increasing with the change of weather; pain in the collarbone with difficulty of movement in neck.
- Features: surface syndrome in the defeat of the wind-cold, no sweating with heat syndrome, a feeling of fullness in chest.

Needling Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 - 0.8 cun. Cauterization.
