Localization

On the dorsal aspect of the second toe, at the junction of lines drawn along the lateral border of the nail and the base of the nail, approximately 0.1 cun from the corner of the nail.

Indications

- Digestive system: feeling fullness in epigastrium, loss of appetite, abdominal pain and distention.
- 5 holes diseases: toothache, gingivitis, flux, hyperptyalism, nasal bleeding, abundant discharge from the nose, swelling of the lips, swelling of the face, tic and contracture of the facial muscles, peripheral facial paralysis.
- Disorders of the mind: fears, nightmares, insomnia or drowsiness, fainting, mania.
- Channel diseases: pain and knee joint swelling, cold in the feet.
- Features: epilepsy, no sweating with fever, pain in the nipple area.

Needling Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.1 - 0.2 cun. Triangular needle to let some blood. Cauterization.
