Above the entrance to the sacral canal, in the center of the sacral-coccygeal junction.

Functions

Unblocks collaterals, strengthens the lower burner (xia jiao), resolves Damp-Heat, strengthens lower back.

Indications

- Digestive system: diarrhea, constipation, blood in stool.
- Urogenital system: all Lin zheng, sperm in urine, leucorrhoea, dysmenorrhea, spermatorrhea.
- Disorders of the mind: epilepsy.
- Features: malarial cold fit, hemorrhoids, rectal prolapse, back pain, pain in the sacrum, paresthesia of the lower limbs, weakness in lower limbs.

Needling Method

Puncture obliquely upward 0.5 - 1 cun. Cauterization.
