Localization

On the palmar aspect of the upper arm, 2 cun below the level of the upper end of the anterior axillary fold, between the two heads of the biceps brachii muscle. Find and use the point at the hand bent in an elbow joint and the palm turned up.

Functions

Soothes the chest, moves Qi and blood, unblocks the channels

Indications

- Cardiovascular system: chest pain with a feeling of congestion and fullness, heart pain, pain in the lateral surface of the chest, irradiating to the shoulder blade; heartbeat, endocarditis.
- Respiratory system: cough.
- Digestive system: abdominal pain accompanied by vomiting and diarrhea.
- Channel diseases: pain and elbow joint swelling.
- Localized diseases: muscle pain, neurodynia.
- Features: faint, visual impairment, fear of wind and cold, intercostal neuralgia, leg weakness and pain.

Needling Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 - 1 cun. Cauterization.
