Localization

On the posterior aspect of the shoulder, 1 cun superior to the posterior axillary crease when the arm hangs in the adducted position. Horizontally between the 4th and 5th thoracic vertebrae and the vertical line of the armpit.

Indications

- Channel diseases: pain in the shoulder joint, shoulder blade and back; arthritis and hypesthesia of the upper limb, the defeat of the shoulder joint by the wind-cold (warming up the needle), hyperhidrosis of the axillary cavity.
- 5 holes diseases: noise of the ears, deafness, visual snow, gum inflammation due to the accumulation of stomach heat.

Needling Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 - 1 cun. Cauterization.
