Localization

On the lateral aspect of the thigh, directly below the greater trochanter, 7 cun superior to the popliteal crease. In the standing position, the tip of the third finger of the lowered and pressed to the thigh hand indicates the location of this point.

Functions

Expels wind, cleans damp and heat, removes itching and pain, strengthens muscles and ligaments.

Indications

- Localized diseases: itching on the outer surface of the leg (lack of liver blood), weakness in the lower limbs, impaired sensitivity and motor function of the lower limb after a stroke, numbness in the leg (emptiness of Qi and blood), take-take.
